CHECKLIST FOR ONBOARDING NEW HIRES

Here’s a list of things you should have ready by the time your new hires walk in the door:

  • Send out an e-mail to everyone in the office so they’re prepared to welcome a new employee.
  • Create File and Collect Documents
  • Add contact information on ERP.
  • Prepare the employee’s workstation.
  • Add to Payroll
  • Set up the computer or laptop.
  • Configure the new employee’s e-mail accounts.
  • Provide guides for any necessary software he or she will be using.
  • Setup google talk on the phone
  • Walkthrough of meeting invites in outlook and alerts on the phone
