  • Mobile Workforce Management

    Allied Consultants helped design and develop a cross-platform mobile based field services solution that enables large facility management firms to manage workforce remotely. It was built using HTML5 and REST based WCF services and automates task dispatching, logging and completion. The collaborative aspect adds a sense of friendly competition among agents by giving out awards based on configurable metrics and allows contribution to a targeted knowledgebase.

    Extending reach to Windows platform

    PopCatcher, with its patent technology to record music from online radio channels, was looking to make their algorithm available on set-top boxes along with their Android and IPhone apps. Allied extended the reach of their technology by developing a Windows app in WPF/Win 7 for Desktop and set top box platforms.

    Commerce Bus links CTC systems

    Mark’s, a subsidary of the Canadian Tire Company (CTC) wanted to upgrade their online presence by moving to IBM Commerce Server from a custom built website. As part of the move, back-office systems (product, fulfilment, merchandising..) were integrated through a company wide Enterprise Service Bus (ESB). Mark’s expects to generate over $20 Million in revenue from the solution in next 5 years.
